Your mountain guides office in Chamonix offers you in wintertime: ski touring, the famous « Vallée Blanche » or the privilege of skiing Mont-Blanc.



For skiers practicing ski touring and who have a good physical condition. An experience of off-piste is also required.

2 different tours offered:
- The Chamonix-Zermatt « Haute Route » (France, Switzerland) -> Doubtless the most famous of all skitours, linking Mont-Blanc and Matterhorn in the middle of majestic 4000 m high peaks. (see program)

- The Grand Paradis Tour (Italy) -> in the heart of the famous Italian national park, a technical tour with the ascent of the summit (4061 m) to finish! (see program)

The ski tours we offer are some of the most prestigious of the Alps, and they remain accessible to all ski tourers in good shape. Live a real immersion of 6 days in the high-mountain, led by a qualified mountain guide for maximum safety, and enjoyment.

Chamonix-Zermatt Program

The first Chamonix Zermatt route was achieved in 1903. It was then a challenging expedition. Nowadays, linking the two historical mountaineering capitals is still a magnificent ski touring route in an enthrallingly beautiful environment.

Day 1 : from the top of Les Grands-Montets cable car (3300 m) we ski to the Argentière hut (2771 m).
Descent: 700 m ; Ascent: 180 m

Day 2 : Chardonnet Pass (3323 m), Fenêtre de Saleina (3267 m), Ecandies Pass ( 2796 m), night in Champex.
Ascent: 750 m ; Descent: 1850 m

Day 3 : Taxi ride to Verbier, Montfort cable car, ascent of Rosa Blanche (3336 m), Prafleuri hut (2624 m).
Ascent : 800 m) ; Descent : 1850 m

Day 4 : Dix Lake and Cabane des Dix Hut (2928 m).
Ascent: 700 m ; Descent: 400 m

Day 5 : ascent to Pigne d'Arolla (3796 m), cabane des Vignettes (3160 m).
Ascent: 900 m ; Descent: 650 m

Day 6 : L'Evêque Pass, (3392 m), Mont Brulé Pass (3213 m), Valpelline Pass (3568 m), Zermatt (1606 m).
Ascent: 1250 m ; Descent: 2650m.
Taxi and/or train back to Chamonix.

Grand Paradis Program

This 6 day loop totally unfolds in the Grand Paradis National Park. Although it involves few glaciers, this tour is most interesting technically. One of its highlights is the wonderful descent from the top of Grand Paradis, not to mention the warm Italian welcome!

Day 1 : We'll meet outside the Tourist Office in Chamonix at 8.30, check the backpacks, give collective equipment and drive to Pont (Italy). We'll hike up to Vittorio Emmanuele Hut (2144 m).
Ascent: 863 m

Day 2 : Grand Paradis Pass (3345 m) , Becchia Pass (2990 m). Descent to Pontese Hut (2200 m).
Ascent: 900 m ; Descent: 1300 m

Day 3 : A long ascent to Teleccio Pass (3300m) and descent to Lillaz.
Ascent: 1100 m ; Descent: 1680 m.
A taxi will take us to Valnontey where we'll spend the night (and enjoy a hot shower!)

Day 4 : Vittorio Sella Hut (2584 m).
Ascent: 900 m

Day 5 : We'll traverse the ridges of Grand Serra (3552m) and after a short descent, go up to Grand Nerron Pass then ski down to Chabod Hut (2750 m) at the foot of the North Face of Grand Paradis.
Ascent: 1350 m ; Descent: 1150 m

Day 6 : Ascent to Grand Paradis (4061 m) and descent to Vittorio Emmanuel Hut then to Pont.
Ascent: 1300 m ; Descent: 2100 m
Transfer back to Chamonix.
